What are Eternity Rings?

These rings are a tangible symbol of enduring love, and often mark an anniversary or other event such as the birth of a child. While there is no definite occasion for giving an eternity ring, it is always a wonderful way of showing the love of your life just how much she means to you. They are generally worn on the wedding ring finger.

Prices and styles of these items of jewellery vary, as do stones and settings, although they are usually diamond rings, with emeralds, rubies and sapphires also popular choices. ‘Full’ eternity rings have stones all the way around the band, so the stones used must be fairly small. These rings are usually custom made.

‘Half’ eternity rings have stones across the face of the band, making them easier to make and size, reflected in the price. Some women find this type of ring more comfortable to wear, and larger stones can be set. Equally, all of the stones can easily be seen.
