Choosing The Perfect Diamond Engagement Ring Box
Many soon to be engaged couples will ponder whether the traditional proposal using diamond engagement ring boxes is a requirement. You can present engagement rings to your loved one in a much more discreet and elegant way without the box, but it can make the likelihood of losing the ring greater. Remember that the ring box is not simply a pretty presentation box. Its main aim is to protect diamond engagement rings from scratches, loss and other forms of damage. The box can be used to keep the ring secure during the run up to the proposal and then you can always present the ring without it.
There is an amazing array of engagement ring boxes available from the simple to the elaborate. You may opt for a simple design to accentuate the elegance of the engagement rings or choose a more luxurious design to really celebrate the occasion.
Some popular choices are geometric shapes such as octagons, squares, rectangles or ovals. Think about the diamond shape and for a coordinated look choose a box that reflects the diamond shape. There are flat or arched lids that can be chosen either lined or unlined
There is now a growing selection of novelty designs from heart shapes to crowns to roses to treasure chests. They can even be used later on as a pillow for wedding rings at the ceremony.
At Marlows we have a fantastic selection of engagement rings and can advise you on your choice of accompanying ring box.
