Why Diamond Earrings make the Perfect Gift
Any man who has proposed with a surprise ring knows how difficult it can be to choose a piece of jewellery that has to fit (ideally) just right. One of the best things about diamond earrings or diamond pendant earrings is that they will fit the first time.
There are other reasons why earrings make such a lovely gift. Diamond earrings fit into every woman’s wardrobe seamlessly. Little diamond studs go as well with a little black dress as they do with jeans and a white shirt. Hoops in white gold, platinum or 18ct gold are more of a statement than studs, but they are equally feminine. While earrings are easier to choose than diamond rings, you do still have to put some thought into them. Getting the metal right is vital. Have a look at the jewellery your partner is wearing today – is she wearing yellow or white gold? Most women will be very clear about their preferences so it’s important you get this right.
If she doesn’t wear jewellery often, or you don’t think she has a preference, you could make a choice based on her skin tone – darker skins complement yellow or rose gold perfectly, while pale skins are better flattered by white gold. Alternatively, let the seasons decide your choice of metal: in summertime yellow gold sets off a tan beautifully, while white gold is perfect for classy winter wardrobes.
As you can see, just a little bit of foresight can turn a simple pair of earrings into a treasured gift for life.
